The DiMatteo Family Charitable Foundation was created in 2005 after Tony survived colon cancer. Since its’ inception, the foundation has raised over $442,000 for various organizations. Each year the committee proposes various organizations that have made a difference in the lives of our family, clients and staff, we then select the organizations to receive the proceeds from the annual event.
The DiMatteo Family Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization registered in 2005 in Connecticut. Our goal is to raise funds primarily through our annual golf tournament. These funds are distributed to various local charities. We will distribute 100% of the proceeds to charity each year and will provide the volunteers for the organization of the event thereby maximizing our gross proceeds.
Our mission is to provide funding to organizations who are dedicated to research, education, and hopefully, finding a cure for diseases that have touched the lives of our friends, families, clients, and staff, and in recent years we have expanded our scope to include the needs of those in our community.
